“you are” / “तुम हो”

Sometimes you are in the drifting evening,
And sometimes in the beautiful sunshine of the morning.
Somewhere in the corner of this mind,
You are there in the mirror of this heart.
You are in the sleeps of nights,
And sometimes in the streets of those dreams.
You are in my emotions, in my unknown thoughts,
You are there everywhere, every moment.
Then why aren’t you in the lines of my palms,
Why aren’t you in my destiny?

ढालती हुई शामो मे कभी तुम हो ,
तो कभी सुबह की सुहानी धूप मे तुम हो।
इस मन के कोने मे कही,
तो इस दिल के आईने मे कही तुम हो।
रातो के नींदो मे तुम हो,
तो कभी उन सपनो के गलियारो मे तुम हो।
तुम हो मेरे जज़्बातो मे, मेरे अंजान खयलो मे,
तुम हो तो हर जगह, हर पल मे ।
फिर हाथो की लकीरो मे क्यूँ नहीं
क्यूँ मेरे तक़्दीर मे नही हो ।
